Toscano Brenta Cigars Return to the U.S. Market
In response to a high demand and a resoundingly positive reception, the Toscano Brenta cigar is making its highly anticipated return to the United States. Within days, cigar aficionados across the country will once again have the opportunity to experience this distinctive Italian creation—an embodiment of centuries-old tradition seamlessly blended with innovation.
Meticulously handcrafted in Campese, near Bassano del Grappa in Northern Italy, the Toscano Brenta holds the distinction of being the first cigar in the Toscano portfolio to utilize air-cured tobacco in place of the brand’s hallmark fire-curing process. Composed entirely of Nostrano del Brenta—a Dark Air Cured Havana tobacco aged for three to five years—the Brenta undergoes a unique re-fermentation process followed by an additional six months of maturation. The result is a mellow-bodied cigar with a complex and evolving flavor profile, featuring notes of hazelnut, walnut, leather, dry florals, and wood.
“The return of the Toscano Brenta to the U.S. market is a clear reflection of the extraordinary response it received from American cigar smokers,” said Luciano Simeone, USA Director of Manifatture Sigaro Toscano. “It’s a cigar that breaks with the conventional Toscano fire cure yet stays true to our identity. Smokers recognized its authenticity, elegance, and Italian soul. We are proud to bring it back and continue sharing this unique experience with a wider audience”
The Toscano Brenta features Toscano’s signature conical shape (56 ring gauge, 4.14 inches in length) and is best enjoyed when paired with rums from the Caribbean – which amplify the cigar’s honeyed undertones – or with a rye whiskey, whose notes of wood, cherry, vanilla, and subtle tobacco mirror and enhance the Brenta’s natural flavors.
